D-B_I.8.1 synthetic MERLIN CH4 data - interface & format definition

Description

The PDF file above is deliverable D-B_I.8.1 of the ITMS work package WP-B_I.8 and provides the format definition for the synthetic MERLIN Level 2 data that are to be produced in deliverable D-B_I.8.3. It is intended to specify variable names, dimensions and attributes. It is based on MERLIN-internal documentation. Furthermore, an introductory overview of MERLIN's measurement principle is given, as well as a detailed description of the procedure according to which the synthetic data will be generated in this work package WP-B_I.8.
