No ITMS result was used as input for this deliverable.

Important Notes

To facilitate and ease uptake by ITMS Module M, previously non-geolocalized emissions were distributed to spatial geometries.

Literature Reference

The report on Land Use, Land Use Change, & Forest Emissions of Germany (LULUCF, Submission 2024, CRT Sector 4) has been published as part of the 2024 National Inventory Document (NID) for the German Greenhouse Gas Inventory 1990 – 2022. The chapters on agriculture, and on land use, land-use changes and forestry, were prepared by the Thünen Institute (TI).

Metadata

The data is a CSV (comma-separated values) file and saved in a structured table format. The geometries and additional meta data were provided to UBA for integration into GRETA

The data is currently with UBA for integration into GRETA but a backup copy is stored on the Thünen NextCloud Q&S data repository: LLULUCF Data for GRETA (Password on Request). The pertinent emissions data in the Common Reporting Format (CRF) (Version 1.0, based on the CSE database, and with trend tables, is also made available on the website of the German Environment Agency (UBA).

The data is a CSV (comma-separated values) file.

The size of the dataset is approximately 240 MB

Planned Update Cycles:

The data is updated annually as per UNFCCC submissions. All time-series are recalculated for each submission.
